Pre-Algebra
0 STUDENTS ENROLLED
Pre-Algebra is an important precursor to Algebra which is usually taught in seventh grade. It focuses on the following critical areas: proportional relationships and percents, operations with rational numbers, operations with algebraic expressions, simple linear equations, problems involving scale drawings, geometric problems involving area, surface area, and volume. Students use their conceptual understanding to solve percent problems, including increase and decrease, discount and tax, interest, etc. Students study number sets such as integers, rational and irrational numbers, learn algebraic properties and operations with rational and negative numbers.
